BEFORE DROP OFF/PICK UP
Bring clothing items in ready to wear condition. Items must be clean or dry cleaned, size and brand tags must be intact, odor and smoke free, no tears, frayed linings, rips, buttons missing, stains, and minimal wrinkles with a retail value of $20 or more. All items MUST be completely free of all animal hair due to personal allergies. Electronics and/or board games must include all pieces and batteries to determine they are in working order. Furniture and home goods must be free of any major flaws.
UNACCEPTED ITEMS
We inspect and sort items in the order in which they come in. Unsellable items must be picked up within two weeks of sorting or can be donated. Any item(s) left past this date will be considered abandoned and become the sole property of A & F Sales and will be subject to donation. If you cannot make this deadline because of special circumstances, you must contact us before the pick up deadline.
Garments without tags, or with holes, stains, wash wear, or broken/non working items cannot be sold and will be donated. Inauthentic items also cannot be sold and will be donated. We do take name brand bras but do not accept socks and underwear. We will no longer be accepting used bedding and linens, Items can be denied due to a number of reasons such as, but not limited to condition of the item, brands we do not accept, desirability, retail value less than $20, and current style.
PRICING AND SELLING
Items to be sold are priced based on similar items available out in the retail consignment world and have been researched to offer competitive fair pricing. Consignor commission ranges from 50-75% of the sale price after all selling, processing, listing fees, and shipping have been deducted. Items will stay in inventory a minimum of 6 months. In some cases A & F Sales will hold items in inventory longer. This will be determined by space availability and items that have not sold, but have had interest while in inventory.
We put a lot of work into research, pricing, and listing items on all platforms and require that you leave consigned items in the store for the full selling period. Should you desire to take back your items before the consignment period ends (6 months) the consignor will be responsible for pick up and required to pay an 'Early Withdrawal' fee per item of 10% of the current price of the item(s). One week notice is required. If items are not picked up within one week of notice, they become the sole property of A & F Sales LLC.
GETTING PAID
A & F Sales distributes client pay by e-checks that are issued on the 25th of each month(or next business day) to the email address on file. Any account that is under $20.00 will roll over to the following pay period. Payouts will be distributed approximately two weeks after an item sells. This is to make sure buyer payments clear and to account for any buyer returns/refunds.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A & F Sales makes our best effort to sell and care for all consigned items. However, all consigned merchandise is left at the consignor's risk. A & F Sales cannot be held responsible nor will we reimburse consignor for any loss or damage by fire, theft, accident, or any other cause. Forgotten Items that are not picked up by consignor within one week after their selling period will become property of A & F Sales. We markdown prices over time, and for promotional pricing at our own discretion.
